Size matters: Thin Woman kicked Off Plane to make Room for Fat Teen

Who says Size doesn’t matter?
A Thin Woman was kicked off her site in order to make room for a fat teenager who needs two seats on the airplane.

According to myfox:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The airline that made headlines for removing an overweight passenger from a flight now has done it again — but this time, the offending passenger weighed just 110 pounds.

Dallas-based Southwest Airlines confirmed that last week, airline representatives removed the 5-foot, 4-inch woman flying standby from Las Vegas to Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Bee, the woman had just settled in the last available seat only to be told she’d have to get off the plane, because an overweight passenger who needed two seats had just arrived late.

When the standby passenger, a frequent flier, began to protest, she says she was berated by the crew.

Southwest said the overweight passenger only paid for one seat. The company admits its policy is to ask for volunteers to give up their seats, and says it intends to apologize to the woman.

The overweight passenger was just 14 years old, and that may have been why the airline staff may have been in a hurry to get the extra seat, according to the paper.
