Continue reading »]]> R.I.P. to Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn… prayers to his friends and family.

Ryan Dunn, one of the stars of MTV’s “Jackass,” has died in a car crash. He was 34.

NBC Philadelphia reports that Dunn and another passenger died in a 3 a.m crash at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania.

The news of the death was confirmed by April Margera, mother of “Jackass” star Bam, in an interview with a local radio show. TMZ also confirmed with Margera.

Dunn posted to Twitter a photo of himself drinking with friends just hours before the crash.

A police report indicated that Dunn was most likely speeding in his 2007 Porsche 911 GT3, which was destroyed in the wreck.

Transformers 3 is being released by Paramount Pictures and produced by Steven Spielberg. A new main leading lady has been cast in this 3rd installment of Transformers, English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who replaces Megan Fox. SNOWTOWN, the debut feature film of director Justin Kurzel and producers Anna McLeish and Sarah Shaw for WARP FILMS AUSTRALIA, has been selected to play at Critics’ Week, Cannes

which runs from the 12 -20 May during the Cannes Film Festival.

Critics’ Week, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is focused on discovering new talent. Previous directors who have screened their early works there include seminal filmmakers such as Ken Loach and Wong Kar Wai and exciting new talent such as Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu and Miranda July.

SNOWTOWN will have its international premiere amongst a fiercely competitive selection of seven films from around the world. All the films are by first or second time directors and judged for the Critics’ Week Grand Prize. SNOWTOWN is also eligible for the highly coveted Camera D’Or, awarded only to debut filmmakers.

Having attracted much local buzz since winning the Audience Award for Best Film at the 2011 Bigpond Adelaide Film Festival this is the icing on the cake for director Justin Kurzel who said of the upcoming experience, “It’s a great honour that SNOWTOWN has been invited to screen in Critics’ Week at Cannes and I am proud that all the wonderful work the cast and crew put into the film will be seen by an international audience.”

Continue reading »]]> The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is the third instalment of The Chronicles of Narnia series and it looks even more amazing than ever before. It’s not due to the 3D aspect of it though that is really cool, it’s the story that’s very intriguing. Little Lucy, cast by Georgie Henley, have played a large role in each instalment so far as the innocent little girl in the Voyage of the Dawn we will see her grow up before our eyes. Skandar Keynes cast as Edmund Pevensie who will be tempted to become one of the ‘bad guys’. Peter and Susan (William Moseley and Anna Popplewell) will not feature in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as their characters have already learned all they needed to but they will be making appearances in the movie.

Lucy and Edmund Pevensie is once again taken to the world of Narnia, as usual in a unusual fashion. They land in the middle of the sea with King Caspian (played by Ben Barnes) on Narnia’s ship the Dawn Treader, at hand to save them from drowning, unexpectedly their cousin Eustace (played by Will Poulter) was also drawn into Narnia and taken aboard. From there they go on a adventure to save Narnia from evil once again but they have to guard their hearts not to be drawn into the dark side.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will be released in theatres on the 10th December 2010

It aint the best horror movie of the decade, it aint of the year either. Personally i’d give it a 4 5 out of 10. I’d give the poster an 8 out of 10 tho, which seems convincing enough. the plot is alright, however the ending is a fail.

Yes, it is quite scary and unbelievable has some funny moments. I still believe the movie had no meaning to it, it doesn’t really make any sense, im gonna say don’t pay for it. I’m thinking there might be a sequel to it due to the unbelievable ending.
