Continue reading »]]> United States President Obama’s Uncle was stopped by the police on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI) and was being held without bail on US immigration detainer. He’s declared to arrange his bail through the white house.
“I think I will call the White House,” Onyango Obama apparently stated according to the filed police report in Framingham District Court after he was caught with drunken driven.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) claimed he had an earlier deportation or removal order.

We All know this news has been slightly or probably exaggerated than how it actually was. This is expected since Onyango Obama a relative of President Obama SMH

Racism or Not?

A disturbed BBC Historian; David Starkley on a discussion/debate on the London (UK) Riots in which he described as a “black protest for the killing of a black man”. He claimed the black culture is to be blamed for the Riots and how “whites have become blacks”. Racist or not, he’s described the black community as “violent, destructive, nihilistic, gangster culture”. He claimed David Lammy (Tottenham’s MP) would sound “white” on a radio as he’s a “Successful black man” i.e. white symbolizes “success and respect” while Black signifies “poverty and criminality”. Other Guests on the show disagree with Starkley. i.e. Owen Jones who rote ” Chavs: the Demonisation of the Working Classes” and Dreda Say Mitchell (the author of “Running Hot”).

Osama Bin Laden is dead, President Obama announced Sunday night, in a televised address to the nation. His death was the result of a U.S. operation launched today in Abbottabad, Pakistan, against a compound where bin Laden was believed to be hiding, according to U.S. intelligence. After a firefight, a small team of American forces killed bin Laden and took possession of his body, the president said.

“Tonight I can report to the American people and the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden,” Obama said during brief remarks at the White House.

Osama bin Laden was killed in his “mansion,” according to the New York Times. Where did America’s most wanted terrorist call home?

The compound was located in the city of Abbottabad, Pakistan, about two hours outside of Islamabad. According to the Times, while comfortable in some respects, the residents did take security seriously

Continue reading »]]> Pakistani Minorities Minister Shahbaz Bhatti has been shot dead by gunmen who ambushed his car in broad daylight in the capital, Islamabad.

He was travelling to work through a residential district when his vehicle was sprayed with bullets, police said.

Mr Bhatti, the cabinet’s only Christian minister, had received death threats for urging reform to blasphemy laws.

In January, Punjab Governor Salman Taseer, who had also opposed the law, was shot dead by one of his bodyguards.

The blasphemy law carries a death sentence for anyone who insults Islam. Critics say it has been used to persecute minority faiths.

Mr Bhatti, 42, a leader of the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), had just left his mother’s home in a suburb of the capital when several gunmen surrounded his vehicle and riddled it with bullets, say witnesses.

The Media’s so messed up, they’re always trying to demonize President Obama, and the obvious way to do this is by using irrelevant stats and assumptions. They’re basically trying to use the black community against him. how can someone say “Obama’s destroyed more blacks than the klu klux klan” klu klux klan? WTF.

Does Obama ignore African Americans? Not really, he wasn’t elected to fix the blacks alone, he’s a president afterall and he’s elected to bring change, we’re talking about global change and major change. Why would the media concentrate on what he’s done for the blacks and what he hasn’t… The whites and the asians don’t count?
During the election, it was all about “how many blacks” for him. Ever since, it’s been about whether he’s been satisfying the black/african americans.

Continue reading »]]> British Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced today that he will ask the Labour Party to organize a leadership election so that he can be replaced. Brown said that he had no intention of staying “in position longer than is needed” and plans to step down by autumn. However he plans to try to remain as prime minster until then if possible, the Guardian notes.

Brown also said that Nick Clegg, the leader of the Liberal Democrats, had told him of his interest in moving forward with formal talks with the Labour Party regarding forming a government.

We have a parliamentary system, not a presidential system, in this country.
As I said on Friday, with no party able to command a parliamentary majority arising from the general election, my constitutional duty as prime minister is to ensure government continues while parties explore options for forming a new administration with majority support in the House of Commons.
The business of government has continued, including concerted action in Europe today to avert the financial crisis in the euro area.

Alistair Darling, the chancellor, spent much of his time yesterday at the European finance ministers’ meeting in Brussels.

This morning, I had conversations with the president of the European Council, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund and the president of the European Central Bank.

I have said I would do all I could to ensure that a stable, strong and principled government is formed, able to tackle Britain’s economic and political challenges effectively.

As we know, the Liberal Democrats felt they should first talk to the Conservative party. Mr Clegg has just informed me that, while he intends to continue his dialogue that he has begun with the Conservatives, he now wishes also to take forward formal discussions with the Labour party.

I believe it is sensible and it is in the national interest to respond positively.

The cabinet will meet soon. A formal policy negotiating process is being established under the arrangements made by the cabinet secretary, similar to the negotiations between other parties.

The first priority should be an agreed deficit reduction plan to support economic growth and a return to full employment.

I know that both parties recognise the importance of ensuring economic stability in the markets and protecting Britain’s standing and both are agreed on the need for a strong and full deficit reduction plan over the coming years.
