Help us send a message to Penn State that morals and ethics are more important than saving face and winning football games. Our mission is to ensure the immediate termination of Penn State’s head football coach, Joe Paterno, after he allegedly failed to report the sexual abuse acts committed by his friend and assistant coach Jerry Sandusky to the police.

Because of Paterno’s inaction, nine boys have reportedly been molested by Sandusky over a nine year period. Penn State’s current plan, to give Mr. Paterno a hero’s retirement at the end of the season, is too good a fate for Paterno; he needs to be dismissed from Penn State’s Football program immediately.

A matador cheated death by millimetres when the beast he was tormenting rammed its horn straight through his chin and out through his mouth.

It only took a split second for Julio Aparicio to became the bull’s bloody victim at a Madrid bullring.

The animal had already been pierced with several banderillas and was close to being killed when he seized his chance of revenge.

Aparicio stumbled and the angry beast charged at him, prompting the crowd at the Las Ventas bullring to gasp in horror – expecting the bull to rip off the fighter’s jaw or even his head.

Remarkably, the beast stepped back and his horn slipped out of the matador’s face as swiftly as it had entered.

Aparicio fell to the ground in shock, with blood pouring from his gaping wound.

Ringside medics rushed him to hospital where leading surgeon Dr Maximo Garcia Pedros performed two operations which saved his life.

The bull was not so fortunate – he was quickly dispatched by fellow matadors.

And, in despite the moment of madness they had witnessed, the stunned crowd settled down to watch two more bullfights as part of the city’s San Isidro festival.

Anyway, UFC President Dana White said late Saturday night that Kimbo Slice is unlikely to fight in the UFC again following his loss to Matt Mitrione at UFC 113.

“That’s probably Kimbo’s last fight in the UFC,” White said of the bout, in which the bigger, stronger Mitrione pounded Kimbo on the ground and beat him easily.

Kimbo, whose real name is Kevin Ferguson, became an Internet sensation when his street fights were posted on YouTube, but he’s never been particularly good as an MMA fighter. White himself famously said that “Kimbo Slice sucks” when Kimbo was fighting with the now-defunct EliteXC organization, and overall Kimbo has managed to win just four fights in his MMA career. Against Mitrione he was overpowered by a strong man and appeared to be in bad shape and was breathing heavily.

But Kimbo had a certain allure to fans, which is why he drew solid ratings when fighting on CBS, and why he was a major asset to the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter reality show. As his MMA career continued, however, Kimbo has been exposed as a guy who just isn’t a very good MMA fighter. Fans are catching on that Kimbo’s MMA skill doesn’t match his mystique, and that means the UFC has no more use for him.

“He’s done,” White said. “We’re probably going to cut him.”

Meet Jaylin Fleming, a fifth-grader at Beasley Academic Center in Chicago (America), who is regarded by some as the most talented basketball player his age in the country. College recruiters have already started courting the young Steger resident and his family, and Bulls star Derrick Rose says Jaylin is better than he was at that age.

The basketball world is watching Jaylin Fleming.

“I’ve never actually seen a kid like this,” Knicks head athletic trainer Roger Hinds said.

“As far as his age, he’s the best that I’ve seen,” said Refiloe Lethunya, a former Division I player, coach and NBA scout.

College and high school coaches are circling, inviting him to games and camps. He has established himself on the all-important AAU circuit. And he has already worked out with the Knicks and with the Bulls’ Derrick Rose.

Jaylin’s father said he knew his son was special the moment he was born.

“All the doctors and nurses noticed (his hands),” John Fleming said. “They were incredibly huge, and I was praying and asking God, what would Jaylin be, what would he do with those hands?”

The answer came seven years later. Jaylin tagged along while his dad and older brother shot hoops with future Marquette point guard Maurice Acker, John Fleming’s godson. When his dad left the gym, Jaylin copied Acker’s drills.

“When I walked back in, Maurice told me what Jaylin was doing with the ball and I could hear God saying this is what he’s supposed to do,” John Fleming said. “He gave me the understanding to see that Jaylin was born to play this game.”
